Body confirmed to be Hudson's nephew

Officials have confirmed that the body found today inside an SUV in Chicago is that of the missing 7-year-old nephew of Jennifer Hudson.  Hudson had offered a $100K reward for the safe return of her nephew, Julian King, who had been missing since Friday, when her mother and brother were found dead in their home.

Police are collecting evidence from the Suburban and going over surveillance tapes from all over the city as the investigation continues, Weis told reporters. "There's a lot of work to be done. We'll be sure to go through this thoroughly," he said. "We don't know what the motive really was at this time. But, clearly you have people who do know each other, so it wasn't a case of stranger-type homicide."

Deputy Chief Cmdr. Wayne Gulliford said police had responded to "a call about a suspicious auto" on the west side of Chicago at approximately 7a.m. when they found the body inside a parked white Chevy Suburban, which had a license plate matching the description in the child's Amber Alert.

He had no details on the body, pending the medical examiner's report.

Barack Obama Offers Support to Jennifer Hudson

Presidential candidate Barack Obama issued the following statement regarding Jennifer Hudson's tragic loss:

"Michelle and I were absolutely heartbroken to learn about this unimaginable tragedy and we want Jennifer to know that she is in our thoughts and prayers during this difficult time.  We also pray for the swift and safe return of her young nephew."

The Obamas had requested that their fellow Chicagoan, Jennifer, sing the national anthem at the Democratic National convention earlier this year.

Hudson offers $100,000 reward for nephew's safe return

Oscar-winning actress Jennifer Hudson is offering a $100,000 reward for the safe return of her 7-year old nephew, who has been missing since her mother and brother were found dead in their home Friday.

A spokeswoman for Hudson confirmed the reward, the latest development in the investigation of the shooting deaths of Hudson's relatives and abduction of her nephew, Julian King.

"Please keep praying for our family and that we get Julian King back home safely," Hudson said in a posting on her MySpace page Sunday. "If anyone has any information about his whereabouts please contact the authorities immediately."

Hudson also posted two pictures of her nephew wearing the brown-and-orange striped polo shirt he was last seen in.

Julian is described as being 4-feet-11 and 130 pounds.  The FBI is working with Chicago police to find Julian, Chicago Police Superintendent Jody Weis said.

ON A SAD NOTE..

Half way through the casting we got a call about the tragedy in Jennifer's family.  Obviously the music video was cancelled. Our prayers go out to Jennifer Hudson and her family.  Keep posted for more information.

LIVIN' IT UP, OH YEAH..!

So we decide last minute to go hear DJ Gomez Warren, IV spin at my boy Bee's club.  Great decision!!  When we got there some other lame DJ was spinning, but after a little gentle persuasion from me and promoter Jerry, we got our boy on the 1's and 2's (and Serato)..

Of course there were some hotties on deck...

Then it got exciting...

We took a walk down Hollywood Blvd. equipt with my handy SideKick LX (shameless plug, but I need that new G1 from T-Mobile!)

Anyway, apparently in some Asian countries Halloween falls somewhere between October 24th & 25th. Because the costumes were in full effect!  Check this out!

OH BOY...

So today I had to cast dudes...

Not that I don't love the work, but looking at shirtless dudes all day is not one of my top things to do.  But... Jennifer Hudson needs a hottie for her new music video, so a guy's gotta do what a guy's gotta do.

What I DID do was hire a super hot assistant!!

to A) distract me from the shirtless guys, and B) to actually do all of the work. Needless to say she was in heaven. She offered to pay me for letting her work the day. Gotta love it.
